2024 Beijing Auto Show: Polar Fox Koala five-seat version unveiled

At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, the five-seater version of the Jihu Koala was officially unveiled. The new car continues the design of the model on sale, with the biggest difference being the five-seat interior design. The Jihu Koala is one of the few mother-baby-friendly cars on the market.

In terms of appearance, the front face of the new car adopts a closed design and a U-shaped front surround design, making the new car look more fashionable. The side of the body is equipped with hidden door handles, and the body also adopts a color-blocking design. The taillights adopt U-shaped design elements, which can be lit together with the brand LOGO, and the rear surround echoes the front surround. At the same time, the new car also adopts a suspended roof and panoramic canopy design.

The biggest change in the interior of the new car is the adoption of a five-seat layout, which is more in line with the actual needs of most domestic consumers. With the double-sided electric sliding doors, after opening with one button/light and shadow, a large area of the rear seats is exposed. With the 340mm low platform and the entry armrest that is only 0.7 meters above the ground, both the elderly and children can easily get on the vehicle. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 120-kW single motor and a CATL lithium iron phosphate battery pack with a capacity of 58.8 kWh. It has a CLTC operating range of 500 kilometers and can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in 26 minutes.
