Experience the future of mobility with Valeo at the 2024 Paris Motor Show

Law Leo will appear at the 2024 Paris Motor Show from October 13 to 20, 2024. At that time, the Valeo booth located in Hall 6 of the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center in Paris and the Valeo Mobility House in Malakoff will simultaneously bring the latest innovations of the Valeo Group in the field of mobility.

With more than 30 years of experience in software delivery and more than 10 years of experience in artificial intelligence applications, Valeo has become an important innovation partner for global OEMs in software-defined vehicle (SDV) projects. Today, the Valeo Group offers the most comprehensive portfolio of sensors, high-performance computing units and their cooling systems on the market, as well as the most comprehensive software portfolio on the market. Valeo also provides connectivity hubs to extend computing power to the cloud so that software-defined cars can maximize the potential of artificial intelligence – both in embedded systems and in data-driven development methods. Christophe Perillat, CEO of Valeo Group, will speak on "Software-defined cars towards success" at the Automotive Industry Summit to be held at the Dôme de Paris on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 10:20 am local time. "Challenges Faced" delivered a keynote speech.

During the Paris Motor Show, you will have the opportunity to learn about Valeo’s solutions, innovative applications and exclusive products, including:

  • Valeo Racer, passengers can play the game through their mobile phones or tablets connected to the on-board wireless network and enjoy a unique extended reality (XR) gaming experience. Through software developed by Valeo, games can leverage the car's advanced driver assistance systems (camera and radar) as well as on-board perception and artificial intelligence algorithms to embed the car's real-life environment into the game - an unprecedented experience.
  • Valeo Predict4Range, a software that predicts and implements efficient thermal management strategies for battery electric vehicles (BEV) to increase vehicle range (i.e. increase charging speed and reduce charging dwell time) and extend battery life. Compared with traditional thermal management software, this software integrates real-time data such as outdoor temperature, wind speed, charging station map, road elevation, electric vehicle parameters, etc., and can extend the vehicle's cruising range by up to 24% in actual driving environments.
  • Valeo continues to innovate in lighting technology and equips Renault’s iconic R5 E-tech with lively and dynamic lighting and signaling systems.
  • Pantomime, Valeo's artificial intelligence solution, uses intelligent solutions in cars to help vehicles interact with construction workers, traffic police and cyclists in various edge situations.

With 40 years of experience in remanufacturing, Valeo has expanded its remanufacturing product portfolio to include electronic and electrical components. After successfully manufacturing the world's first remanufactured front-facing camera at the Circular Electronic Lab in Nevers, France, Valeo has accelerated the remanufacturing of electric vehicles. Valeo will present the Renault Zoe charger equipped with Valeo's remanufactured high-voltage inverter at the PFA - La Fabrique de l'électrique (Hall 5.1). The remanufactured charger was developed in partnership between Valeo and The Remakers, a subsidiary of The Future is Neutral. Valeo is responsible for remanufacturing the high-voltage inverter, which The Remakers will integrate into the reconditioned charger. Valeo's remanufactured high-voltage inverters save 80% of natural resources and reduce CO2 emissions by 50% compared to newly manufactured inverters. The project will start in 2025.
