In addition to passenger car battery supply and technical cooperation, the two parties will also jointly explore public transportation, new energy, three-electric integration and battery swapping in the fields of buses, logistics vehicles, heavy trucks, electric ships, etc., to promote and lead the industry's high-end Quality development.

This signing marks the official launch of comprehensive strategic cooperation between Chery Group and CATL, making full use of the superior resources of both parties to jointly develop domestic and foreign new energy vehicle markets. CATL and Chery have already cooperated before, June 21, Yibin Times Kaiyi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was registered and established. The company was jointly established by CATL and Kaiyi Automobile, with shareholding ratios of 51% and 49% respectively. Kaiyi Automobile is a state-owned joint-stock enterprise controlled by Yibin Automobile Industry Development Investment Co., Ltd., Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., and Sichuan Yibin Push Group Co., Ltd. Among them, Chery Automobile holds nearly 48% of the shares, making it the second largest shareholder.
