The law of true fragrance of trams, one point that cannot be avoided is "energy replenishment"
On May Day this year, Weilai has made high-speed battery swaps free for all car owners, so there is such a great opportunity for low (free) carbon (fee) travel, and I will definitely seize it.
So after driving 6,000 kilometers by tram during the Spring Festival, I still chose the NIO ET7 on May Day this year to accompany me on this 3,000+ kilometer trip to Hangzhou.
The service rights that are about to expire have 11 off-site power-ups, and I have to use them this time. Based on the principle that I don’t want to spend any travel expenses, I set off.
Saving money:
Only choose NIO for electric vehicle self-driving. Battery swapping is a fast and convenient way to replenish energy. Even queuing up at a battery swap station is faster than queuing up for charging.
There is no slumping on the highway, and there is not even any range anxiety.
The queues at high-speed charging piles are serious during the day, but the situation eases at night. When gas stations in service areas are closed, hybrid car owners come to charging stations to grab charging piles.
The owner of Lili Car and the owner of Wenjie M5 and Wenjie M7 fought over the charging pile.
NOP+ helped me drive 2,300 kilometers along the way, saving me from drowsiness n times, and also bumped into a stray object on the highway once. Because it is currently impossible to identify objects other than calibrated objects such as cars, people, piles and barrels. Fortunately, it was a soft oil barrel and no damage was caused to the car.
This trip consumed a total of 1208 kilowatt hours of electricity. Among them, I replaced the battery 13 times for free, and recharged it once with the power provided by the off-site recharging privilege to complete the self-driving. The cost of recharging the battery for 3,000 kilometers was 0 yuan. A fuel vehicle will cost 2,700 yuan based on 8l/100km 95# fuel consumption.
Text begins
April 29 is still a holiday, so I set off on April 30 to avoid the crowds rushing into Zi to take the exam and avoid the May Day travel rush.
Departure, Yangzhou Fried Rice (1037km|Four battery swaps)
After replacing the battery at the third-generation battery swapping station at my doorstep, I set off (do you think it’s annoying to live in a battery area room at a first-generation, second-generation, or third-generation battery swapping station)
On the way out of Yangzhou, I ran into a roasted pork that was late, and decided to plan a route to Zibo for a meal. Of course, you can’t leave the car behind even if you’re full, and you successfully checked into the Zibo battery swapping station.
After everyone and the car had enough to eat and drink, they continued on the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway and headed south to Yangzhou. As NIO's first expressway to open up a power swap network, the power swap stations on the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway in the Shanghai direction are generally first-generation stations (the third-generation power swap stations in the Beijing direction are currently under construction and will be opened before National Day, which can greatly alleviate the pressure of power swaps). Maybe the battery swapping here is not the fastest, but the service here is the most considerate. NIO has set up energy replenishment points for car owners at the high-speed generation battery swapping station. Coffee and snacks are all available, which is really considerate.
The car had enough power to last all the way to downtown Yangzhou, so I didn’t join in the fun, but what happened next really made my eyes light up.
Yes, service areas are closed and gas stations are temporarily closed. Maybe you used to worry about what to do if the charging pile was full or broken. Now, after queuing at the gas station, a new problem that gasoline vehicles will encounter is that the gas station is closed. At this time, hybrid extended range car owners will be happy. If we can’t refuel, we’ll line up to recharge. Multiple forms of energy are cool.
The rest of the journey was smooth. We visited various attractions and ate various snacks.
Return trip (1162km|five battery swaps)
The next step is the highlight of the return journey. The generation of battery swap stations mentioned above still did not disappoint me. . .
So I decided to go directly to the next service area and use the free off-site power-up rights to recharge + sleep. Because this is a 60kW charging pile, the charging time reaches 2 hours. And when I woke up, the battery was only charged to 98%. At this time, there were still two people queuing in front of the battery swap station.
Because the charging range is very high this time, I only need to change the battery once when I go to Beijing, so I can drive vigorously. You can encounter electric vehicles from other provinces along the way. There’s really only NIO. You always say that the labor cost of NIO's battery swapping is high, but what I feel this time is that NIO's battery swapping stations are all unattended, while State Grid's charging piles have managers to help arrange numbers.
And I saw the State Grid nanny car, which can add an additional high-power charging position! (This cost!)
Write at the end:
Since the last Spring Festival trip, Weilai's NOP+ high-speed pilot has undergone an iteration. Now it handles up and down ramps and blocked vehicles more like an experienced driver. The overall riding experience is very good. It’s just that the obstacle recognition has not been supplemented. Of course, the assisted driving driver at this stage still needs to keep an eye on it. This time I bumped into an oil barrel on the highway. I was really shocked, but fortunately I contacted the NIO manager in time. , went to the nearest service center for testing, and found no damage to the vehicle. (Don’t panic when encountering this situation. Stop in the emergency lane with steady brakes and double flash. Open the trunk cover and take out the warning triangle. Stand it 150m behind the car. Make sure there is no fault code on the screen of the car. Contact the butler group for warranty)< /p>
It is convenient to swap batteries on the highway, but when traveling on holidays, there are still queues at popular stations. Plan your travel plan properly. There will be less traffic on the highway at night, which can greatly improve the efficiency of energy replenishment and commuting. And hope to lay out more battery swap stations in high-speed service areas, NIO, power up!
