●Advanced appearance design

I believe that the appearance of Qianchen iC1 will definitely leave a deep impression on you. The front face design style that is completely different from traditional light trucks comes from the previously released iC1 concept car. The "black-faced Bao Gong" front face image is a bit cute. The central control panel is tilted towards the driver's side to facilitate the driver's operation of the vehicle system. According to official information, the new car will be equipped with EHB electronic hydraulic braking system, EPB parking, hill assist, voice control, cruise control, reversing image, driving recorder and tire pressure monitoring.

●Three-person cockpit/superior inside 1Mi 7

The cockpit of Qianchen iC7 adopts a low floor and high forehead design, which on the one hand makes it easier for passengers to get in and out of the car, and on the other hand ensures the internal height of the cockpit. The official cabin height of iC1 is 1765mm, which can fully support most adults. You can stand and walk in the cockpit; in addition, the seats in the car adopt a horizontal row layout for three people. The cushions of the three seats are completely flush. With the body width of more than 2m, it is not a problem to lie down on this row of seats to rest.

●The battery life can reach 255km

Qianchen iC1 is equipped with a large flat-panel water-cooled battery pack (lithium iron phosphate battery) with a capacity of 83.4kWh. Officials stated that the new car’s comprehensive operating range can exceed 255km; in terms of energy replenishment, it can be charged within 40 minutes under fast charging conditions. The battery power can be charged from 0 to 80%, and iC1 also has the ability to replace batteries. In terms of drive motor, iC1 does not use a motor direct drive bridge design like EC1. Instead, the motor is arranged at the front end of the rear axle. Currently, the official parameters of the motor have not been given. You can refer to EC1 for reference.

●Simple test drive experience

In this event, Qianchen Automobile also arranged a simple test drive session. I also sat in the driving seat of iC1 and drove a few hundred meters. As far as initial feelings are concerned, the accelerator pedal feedback of the Qianchen iC1 is relatively heavy, while the brake pedal setting is relatively light, which requires the driver to get used to it. However, the iC1's suspension performance in the unloaded state is better than I expected, and you can even feel the toughness from the suspension on bumpy roads.

I won’t say much about the controls. After all, light trucks don’t need particularly flexible controls. iC1 has three levels of adjustable kinetic energy recovery, which is helpful to extend battery life. However, it is precisely because of the existence of kinetic energy recovery that it will make people feel that the braking force is not linear enough after stepping on the brakes, and then wait for kinetic energy recovery to intervene or step deeper. The brake pedal will achieve the desired braking effect.
