A few days ago, we officially learned from Hongmeng Smart that Xiangjie S9 will receive its first OTA upgrade. It is understood that this upgrade will realize the full commercial use of HUAWEI ADS 3.0, upgrade omnidirectional collision 3.0, improve parking performance, etc.

In terms of details, Xiangjie S9 will be updated to support the new HUAWEI ADS 3.0, which will upgrade the end-to-end network architecture. It can understand complex traffic scenes, predict the behavior of pedestrians and vehicles, and provide urban intelligent driving assistance (City NCA). The functions are further improved.

In addition, the new car will also add lane cruise assist enhancement (LCC Plus), intelligent recognition of traffic lights, autonomous starting and stopping at intersections; a new roadside start smart driving function, a new ADS App smart driving service panel, and optimized ADS App itinerary summary page etc.

In terms of automatic parking, after the upgrade of Xiangjie S9, a new parking assist custom parking system will be added.Left/right function, assisted valet parking (AVP) function, reverse parking (RA) function, off-car parking function, obstacle occupation parking space/remote parking function, etc.

In terms of active safety, the Xiangjie S9 will be upgraded to Omni-directional Collision 3.0. Forward active safety will add the ability to predict the behavior of diagonally crossing pedestrians and two-wheeled vehicles and slow down to avoid collisions; for lateral active safety, new support will be added to cross the dotted line for borrowing. Obstacle avoidance; rearward active safety has added support for common obstacles such as cones and water horses.

In terms of the cockpit, the Xiangjie S9 will add smart scene sharing functions, a voice-controlled nap "sleep for a while" function, and a steering wheel adjustment function in the control center after the update.
