It adopts the new design of the Hyundai family and is expected to become a The replacement model of ix35 focuses on the compact SUV market.

According to the application drawings previously released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Beijing Hyundai MUFASA adopts the new design style of the Hyundai family. The interior of the polygonal front grille is supplemented by honeycomb-like elements. The center of the grille uses the luminous brand LOGO and matches the fangs. The style of the front surround is distinctive. At the same time, the half-moon-shaped headlight set looks very visually impactful when paired with the grille.

On the side of the car body, a combination of black trim panels and chrome trim strips are also designed under the doors. The fastback roof is matched with a through-type waistline, and newly designed wheels further enhance the sporty atmosphere. At the rear of the car, Hyundai designers created a narrow-stripe rounded rectangular taillight set for this car, which looks weird, and adds the Hyundai brand letter logo in the center. At the same time, the car also adds a diffuser decoration to enhance the sporty look of the car.

In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4475/1850/1665 (1681/1685) mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2680mm. For reference, the length, width and height of the 2021 Hyundai ix35 are 4500/1850/1710 (1715) mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2640mm. In comparison, the length of Hyundai MUFASA is 25mm shorter than that of ix35, and the wheelbase is 40mm longer than that of ix35.

In terms of power, Beijing Hyundai MUFASA is equipped with a G4NJ 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine produced by Shandong Hyundai Wia Automotive Engine Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 118kw.
