On April 18, Polestar 4 was officially launched at the Shanghai Auto Show. The new car is priced in the range of 349,800-533,800 yuan. The new car is a pure electric medium-sized SUV with a fastback shape. It is expected to be built on the same platform as the Jikrypton 001 and will be produced locally in China. It is reported that Polestar 4 will be delivered as soon as this year.

Polestar brought its entire range of new products, including the world's first pure electric high-performance SUV Polestar 4, the ultra-luxury pure electric SUV Polestar 3 that debuted at the domestic auto show for the first time, and the 2024 all-new Polestar 2 car model.

The design ideas embodied in the Polestar Precept concept car, as well as the sustainable product concepts that are continuously upgraded for the future, have been mass-produced for the first time on the Polestar 4. Not only that, Polestar 4 is also the fastest Polestar model to date from development to mass production.

Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath said: "Polestar 4 is not an improvement on our existing SUV models. On the contrary, it is a brand-new model based on our re-evaluation of the overall design idea. Coupe SUV".

Polestar 4 is a coupe SUV based on new design ideas, integrating the aerodynamic design of the coupe model. The new car will continue the family-style design style, using new split headlights and closed grille And designs such as a through-type lower grille; the side of the car adopts a fastback style design and is equipped with hidden door handles; the taillights adopt a through-type design, which is similar to the Polestar 3.

The interior of the new car is simple and refreshing, in line with the mainstream design of new energy vehicles. In terms of materials, the new car follows the concept of environmental protection and uses fabric materials. The color scheme is fresh and elegant, typical of Nordic style. In terms of configuration, the new car uses a 9-inch LCD instrument panel. The system is based on the Meizu car system, but the UI is designed by Polestar.

In terms of power, a dual-motor four-wheel drive model may be launched for the first time. It is expected that long-range and high-performance versions may also be provided in the future. The WLTP cruising range is expected to be about 600km.
