Recently, we learned from Geely Galaxy official that Geely Galaxy E8 will start OTA update. It is understood that this upgrade will update Galaxy Flyme Auto and add AI Galaxy Elf and Xingrui AI large models. Geely Galaxy E8 is positioned as a mid-to-large car with a price range of 165,800 to 228,800 yuan. It is built based on SEA's vast architecture and provides an 8K high-definition 45-inch large screen and built-in Galaxy N OS-unbounded version of the car system.
In terms of appearance, Geely Galaxy E8 adopts the new design language of "ripple aesthetics". The front of the car uses split headlights, and there are two front face designs to choose from. The optional integrated luminous front face is the world's first mass production. It has a built-in 22 rows of 158 luminous windows with a luminous area of 0.105m². It can present different light effects such as welcome and farewell, left and right flowing water, jumping flowing water, and music show.
The Geely Galaxy E8 adopts a coupe-style body design with a wind resistance coefficient of only 0.199Cd, which provides a good foundation for battery life. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5010/1920/1465mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2925mm.
The overall design of the Galaxy E8's tail is relatively simple. The taillight shape is inspired by the rising trajectory of the rising sun, and does not use traditional through-type taillights. The lamp cavity is equipped with 390 LED lamp beads, which also support different lamp language forms and have rich visual effects. The Galaxy E8's trunk volume is 420L, and it also provides a 53L front trunk volume, which can meet daily loading needs.
The biggest highlight of the Galaxy E8's interior is the use of the largest 45-inch 8K through-car screen currently in mass production. In terms of power system, the Galaxy E8 is available in rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions. The rear-wheel drive model is equipped with a 400V platform and a motor power of 200kW.
