This may lead to different consequences: airbag (SRS) control unit failure, automatic emergency call (eCall) function is not available, the vehicle cannot start or stalls while driving, other components (such as instrument cluster, The functions of the auxiliary system are affected, etc., posing safety risks.

At that time, Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. stated that it would use authorized dealers to check whether the air-conditioning drain hoses are installed in place for vehicles within the recall scope for free, and replace them with new drain hoses as needed to eliminate safety hazards. .
