2024 Beijing Auto Show Pavilion Tour: Star Era ET

On the occasion of the opening of the Beijing Auto Show, Bitauto's front-end exploration team captured a set of pictures of the Star Era ET actual car. The new car has been pre-sold in mid-April, with a pre-sale price starting from 199,000 yuan, and will be launched at the Beijing Auto Show Appearance. It is understood that the Star Era ET is based on Chery's new E0X high-end intelligent electric platform. It is positioned as a medium-to-large SUV and is equipped with a full-range 800V architecture. It will provide two systems of pure electric version and extended-range version. The extended-range version has a cruising range of Breaking through 1,500 kilometers.

In terms of appearance, Star Era ET uses a through-type LED daytime running light set and a split headlight set. The ventilation and heat dissipation openings on both sides of the front enclosure integrate the high and low beam light sets well. Form a triangle pattern. In addition, both the pure electric version and the extended-range version of the new car adopt a closed front design, with ventilation and heat dissipation openings set under the front apron, revealing a hint of dynamic effect in the shape.

The overall shape of the side of the body adopts a relatively standard SUV body structure. The body waistline runs from the side to the rear. The front and rear fenders match the wheel eyebrow shape to create a wide-body visual effect. The new car is also equipped with hidden door handles and 19 Inch and 20-inch wheels are optional, and all series come standard with 6-piston fixed calipers. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4955/1975/1698mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3000mm.

At the rear of the car, the new car is equipped with a roof spoiler and a hidden rear window wiper. The taillight group adopts a through-type design, which is highly recognizable when lit. The rear surround of the new car also adopts a two-color design that is different from the body color. The recessed license plate frame area and the bent design under the trunk create a good sense of hierarchy in the parking space.

In terms of interior, the new car will be equipped with a full LCD instrument panel and a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel; the center console is equipped with a multimedia touch screen with a suspended design, and the central tunnel area adopts a separate design, with Come for a better space experience. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with suspended headrests, seats with heating, ventilation, massage, lumbar support and leg support functions. It is also equipped with a mobile star bar, double-layer flow three-temperature zone heat pump air conditioner, intelligent health monitoring, and "zero formaldehyde" "Cockpit, Lion Melody Max immersive 23 speakers and other configurations.

In terms of smart driving, the new car will be equipped with 30 high-performance sensors including ultra-long-range high-precision lidar, high-precision millimeter wave radar, and high-definition cameras. It will also use NVIDIA's DRIVE ORIN chip with a computing power of up to 508 TOPS, which can provide NEP full-scenario smart driving assistance covers urban smart driving assistance, high-speed smart driving assistance, and smart parking. At the same time, Star Era ET can also customize the smart driving experience in diverse scenarios such as off-roading and commuting based on big data.

In terms of power, the new car will have two options: pure electric version and extended range version, both equipped with SiC silicon carbide electric drive system and EEA5.0 electronic and electrical architecture. The pure electric version will provide single-motor and dual-motor versions. The rear single-motor version has a maximum power of 230 kilowatts, and the dual-motor four-wheel drive version has a combined power of 353 kilowatts. The range-extended model is equipped with a 1.5T range extender + electric motor to form a range-extended system, and is paired with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, with a comprehensive range of more than 1,500 kilometers.
