Smart Elf #5 Application Picture Optional LiDAR / Available in 2024

Recently, we obtained a set of application information for the smart #5 model from the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The overall appearance design of the new car basically refers to the previous concept model. At the same time, rear-wheel drive version, four-wheel drive version and BRABUS performance version will be launched. It is reported that the new car will be officially released and launched in 2024.

In terms of appearance, the overall shape of the new car adopts a lot of the design of the Phantom #5 concept car, such as the headlight group style, discontinuous LED light group, closed front grille, etc. The front enclosure of the new car adopts a hollow-style heat dissipation opening design, and there are also ventilation openings on both sides, making the overall design more personalized.

On the side of the body, the new car's waistline runs through the body to the rear, creating a visual effect of wide front and rear fenders. It is also equipped with thick wheel eyebrows and optional 19-21-inch wheel rims.

In the rear part of the car, the new car’s taillight group adopts a through-type design, and also uses an intermittent type.The shape of the light group echoes the front of the car. The complex shape of the rear enclosure further enhances the three-dimensional look of the vehicle. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4705/1920/1705mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2900mm.

In terms of configuration, the new car can be equipped with non-privacy glass, lidar, roof headlights, cameras, driving recorders and other configurations. In terms of power, there will be a 250-kilowatt rear single-motor version, a 165/267-kilowatt front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive, and a 165/310-kilowatt dual-motor four-wheel drive BRABUS performance version. In terms of battery packs, the new car will be available with lithium iron phosphate battery packs and ternary lithium battery packs.
