On October 18, at Hon Hai Technology Days, Foxconn released its new models Model B and Model V. Both will be put into production in factories in Taiwan, Thailand, and the United States, and will discuss cooperation with partners in India and Indonesia. The production version of the previously released Model C is expected to be officially delivered to car owners in the second half of next year.
The Model V launched this time is positioned as an electric pickup truck. It adopts a five-seat layout and has a load capacity of 1 ton and a towing capacity of 3 tons.

There is a front luggage compartment at the front, and the rear cargo compartment is equipped with an external discharge function. Pure electric range is 420 kilometers.
Model B is a small pure electric SUV, based on the Model C platform, with a body size of 4300x1865x1530 mm and a wheelbase of 2800 mm. The interior is equipped with a 15.6-inch central control horizontal screen. It has a cruising range of 450 kilometers and accelerates to 100km/h in 6.6 seconds.
In addition, Hon Hai will launch solid-state batteries in the future to improve safety density and charging speed, making it safer and longer lasting.
At the software level, HHEV.OS will be launched and committed to becoming a software ecosystem. The model plan of the MIH modular platform will be announced at the demonstration day on November 8.
Hon Hai Technology also exhibited a series of other technologies on the day, such as EPS electric power steering system, solid-state batteries, semiconductors, etc. In the next 10 years, the commissioned design and manufacturing service CDMS business model will be launched in the field of electric vehicles.
