Recently, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products". It was decided to recall some Chery Tiggo 5x vehicles produced from August 22, 2023 to October 30, 2023, starting from June 21, 2024, a total of 3,037 vehicles.

Due to the welding equipment of some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the rear axle longitudinal arm and the casing may not be welded firmly. In extreme cases, the welding joint between the rear axle longitudinal arm and the casing may separate, resulting in loss of wheel control, posing a safety hazard.

Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. will check the production date code of the rear axle of the vehicles within the recall scope for free. If it belongs to a defective batch, the rear axle will be replaced for free to eliminate safety hazards.
