Some Porsche Carrera GT recalled due to vehicle collision risk

Recently, Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Recall Management of Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Recall Management of Defective Automobile Products". Starting from September 2, 2024, some imported Carrera GT series cars produced between December 18, 2004 and December 1, 2005 will be recalled, a total of 6 vehicles.

For the vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to insufficient corrosion resistance of the raw materials, the front axle and rear axle trailing arm may crack or break under long-term corrosion and mechanical stress, affecting the vehicle's maneuverability and increasing the risk of vehicle collision. Risks, potential safety hazards.

Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will entrust authorized dealers to replace the front axle and rear axle trailing arm of the vehicles within the recall scope free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.

Porsche (China) Auto Sales Co., Ltd. will notify relevant car owners by registered mail or other means. Porsche authorized dealers will also proactively contact relevant users and arrange free recall repairs.
