On September 16, Kunlang Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Kunlang Technology") made its first public appearance at the 2022 World Intelligent Connected Vehicle Conference in Beijing.

Kunlang Technology is a provider of overall capacity solutions dedicated to L4 and above autonomous commercial vehicle manufacturing and logistics operations. Based on market demand and various application scenarios, Kunlang Technology has integrated upstream and downstream industry resources, planned and developed a number of models in the first batch (four of which are on display this time), and strives to create an electrified and intelligent logistics transportation system. On the same day, Kunlang Technology released four driverless commercial vehicles with independent intellectual property rights, redefining driverless commercial vehicles. The commercial unmanned flatbed uses a fixed electric chassis to flexibly choose to match the vehicle upper body according to the customer's application needs to achieve a customized, modular, high-performance, low-cost commercial unmanned transportation solution; at the same time, through unmanned vehicles and smart operations The platform provides customers with full-scenario, full-coverage, autonomous and controllable unmanned transportation solutions.

Compared with other driverless products, Kunlang Technology’s unmanned commercial vehicles have the following characteristics:

  • Cabless design: The chassis is lighter and the load capacity is improved; the vehicle BOM is smaller, resource organization, production cycle and cost are reduced; the effective use of space is improved under the same vehicle length, and the cargo space is larger; there is no driver operation, breaking through the driving time limit and greatly improving operational efficiency.
  • Modular distributed drive: Releases chassis space to improve space utilization, simplifies the vehicle manufacturing process, unifies the powertrain ports, and quickly matches different power motors to meet multiple drive types and multi-power combinations in different application scenarios.
